The Model APM-16 RF wattmeter is designed to keep pace with the ever growing complexity of digitally-based communication systems. Bird's Model 43 and most other wattcmeters available today were designed to measure power of constant amplitude, sinusoidal waveforms. Modern wireless communication systems can use a variety of digital techniques to combine many voice data channels into a complex, composite RF signal. Measurement of such signals with a conventional wattmeter may yield unacceptable errors. The APM-16 employs active circuitry to deliver accuracy of ± 5% for multiple-access technologies such as CDMA, TDMA, FDMA and other digitally-encoded communication systems.

如何使用(yòng)駐(zhù)波(bō)比(bǐ)表
BV3FG 若(ruò)以功(gōng)率(shuài)的觀點(diǎn)來看(kàn) 駐(zhù)波(bō)比可以表示(shì)為:
SWR = (√Po + √Pr)/(√Po - √Pr)
Po:進(jìn)入天綫係統的功率 Pr:從(cóng)天綫係(xì)統(tǒng)反(fǎn)射回(huí)來的功(gōng)率
經過運(yùn)算 SWR 與 Pr/Po (反(fǎn)射功率(shuài)百分比)的(dí)關係(xì)如下:
Pr/Po = [(SWR-1)/(SWR+1)]^2
駐(zhù)波比表基本(běn)上就是功率(shuài)表。它(tā)可以(yǐ)量(liáng)測(cè)輸(shū)入功率及(jí)反射功率。但(dàn)根(gēn)據上式(shì),不(bù)管輸(shū)入功(gōng)率為(wéi)何,反(fǎn)射功率一定和(hé)輸入功率成一定的比(bǐ)例。也就是說(shuō),對同一駐(zhù)波比,不管輸入(rù)功率(shuài)為何,隻(zhī)要是在(zài)量(liáng)輸入(rù)功率(shuài)時利(lì)用(yòng)可變(biàn)電阻調整(zhěng)驅動(dòng)表頭的(dí)電流使指(zhǐ)針(zhēn)達到滿刻度。那麽你量測反射功(gōng)率時,指(zhǐ)針(zhēn)一(yī)定是(shì)指在(zài)同一個(gè)位置。把這些相關(guān)位置標(biāo)出(chū)來,我們的(dí)功(gōng)率(shuài)表(biǎo)上就多了一(yī)排(pái)刻(kè)度,叫做"駐波(bō)比",而(ér)您的(dí)功(gōng)率(shuài)表馬(mǎ)上搖身(shēn)一變(biàn)成為"駐波(bō)比表"了。
說(shuō)穿(chuān)了(liǎo),駐波(bō)比(bǐ)表(biǎo)就是功(gōng)率表。在(zài)量測功率時(shí)它預設了幾組(zǔ)功率(如5W,20W,200W)使輸(shū)入(rù)功率(shuài)恰好是(shì)這個位(wèi)準時(5W, 20W, 200W),指針(zhēn)會達到(dào)滿(mǎn)刻(kè)度。當(dāng)你(nǐ)撥在CAL位置(zhì)時就是量輸入功率(shuài),隻(zhī)不過(guò)你可以調整指針位置。當(dāng)你撥(bō)在SWR位(wèi)置時就是量(liáng)反(fǎn)射(shè)功(gōng)率,隻不過您(nín)這時候看(kàn)的是(shì)SWR的刻度(dù)。
以(yǐ)DIAMOND係列的(dí)駐波比(bǐ)表(biǎo)而言(yán),它有(yǒu)一個 Calibration 旋鈕(niǔ)及三個選(xuǎn)擇開關:Power Range,Func,FWD/REF SWITCH。用法如下(xià)。
量輸入功(gōng)率(shuài):
1.將(jiāng) POWER RANGE 撥(bō)到200W,FUNC 撥到(dào)PWR,FWD/REF 撥到FWD;
2.按下無綫電機的發(fā)射(shè)鍵(jiàn);
3.適(shì)度選(xuǎn)擇 POWER RANGE 以(yǐ)精確讀(dú)出(chū)功率。
量反射功(gōng)率:
1.將 POWER RANGE 撥到(dào)200W, FUNC 撥(bō)到(dào)PWR, FWD/REF 撥(bō)到(dào)REF;
2.按下無綫電機(jī)的發射(shè)鍵(jiàn);
3.適度(dù)選(xuǎn)擇(zé) POWER RANGE 以精確讀(dú)出(chū)功率。
量(liáng)駐波比(bǐ):
1.將 FUNC 撥到(dào)CAL 位置,CALIBRATION 旋鈕反(fǎn)時針方向(xiàng)旋轉到(dào)底(dǐ);
2.按下無綫(xiàn)電機的(dí)發射鍵,調(tiáo)整 CALIBRATION旋(xuán)鈕(niǔ)使指針(zhēn)達到滿(mǎn)刻度;
3.將(jiāng) FUNC 撥(bō)到(dào) SWR 位(wèi)置,由表頭的(dí) SWR 刻(kè)度讀(dú)出(chū)駐波比的(dí)讀值。
使(shǐ)用(yòng)駐波(bō)比(bǐ)表量(liáng)測天綫(xiàn)的駐波比時要(yào)盡量將駐(zhù)波(bō)比表靠近天綫端(duān),因(yīn)為傳(chuán)輸(shū)綫的(dí)傳(chuán)輸(shū)損(sǔn)耗會使(shǐ)得(dé)所量(liáng)出(chū)來(lái)的駐波(bō)比數值較小,變成(chéng) "快樂駐波(bō)比"。例(lì)如(rú),原本天綫(xiàn)的(dí)駐(zhù)波(bō)比為 1.92 (反(fǎn)射功率百(bǎi)分(fēn)比為(wéi)10%),現(xiàn)在加上(shàng)一段(duàn) cable 衰減量為 3_dB,假設無綫(xiàn)電機(jī)的發射功(gōng)率為10W,則(zé)經(jīng)由 CABLE 傳到天(tiān)綫(xiàn)的輸入端(duān)時隻(zhī)剩(shèng)下(xià)5W,然(rán)後反(fǎn)射10% 即 0.5W,0.5W 經(jīng)由傳(chuán)輸綫送回來隻(zhī)剩下(xià)0.25W,所(suǒ)以(yǐ)駐(zhù)波比量到的是輸入 10W,反(fǎn)射 0.25W,反射(shè)功率百(bǎi)分比為 2.5%,即 SWR=1.03 量起(qǐ)來(lái)真(zhēn)是快樂的(dí)不(bù)得了(liǎo)。
此(cǐ)外(wài),目(mù)前(qián)大部(bù)份的(dí)駐(zhù)波(bō)比表(biǎo)都是(shì)利(lì)用感應(yīng)的(dí)方式(shì)將信號感(gǎn)應到駐(zhù)波比表內的量測電路(lù),所以(yǐ)在量測時可以一(yī)邊(biān)發(fā)射(shè)一邊切換(huàn)駐波(bō)比表上的(dí)開關(guān),這並(bìng)不(bù)會損(sǔn)壞無(wú)綫電機。如(rú)果小(xiǎo)心(xīn)一點(diǎn),不要(yào)讓(ràng)指針瞬間打到(dào)底。駐波(bō)比表(biǎo)要(yào)壞掉(diào)也蠻(mán)難的。
zui後(hòu)提(tí)醒一(yī)點,天(tiān)綫的好壞不能單看(kàn)駐(zhù)波比。現(xiàn)在大家(jiā)如(rú)此(cǐ)迷信駐波比的原因(yīn)很簡單,因為(wéi)駐波比表到處都(dū)買得到(dào)。我(wǒ)的(dí)意思是說,不(bù)要因(yīn)為(wéi)天(tiān)綫駐(zhù)波(bō)比很(hěn)低(dī)就覺(jué)得(dé)一切OK而沾沾(zhān)自喜,多研(yán)究天綫的(dí)其它特(tè)性才是(shì)真正的(dí)樂趣.
